Crafting a winning pitch deck
May 29, 2025·By Mandy Salem-Aubry
Investors need clarity and confidence in your idea. A structured pitch deck helps tell your story, demonstrate value, and outline how you’ll succeed. It’s not about cramming in every detail. It’s about making your case clearly and convincingly in a short space of time.

A well-structured pitch deck should cover the following:
- Problem: What issue are you solving?
- Solution: Why is your approach the best?
- Market opportunity: Is there demand?
- Product: Show, don’t just tell (demos matter)
- Business model: How will you make money?
- Traction: Any evidence that people want this?
- Go-to-market strategy: How will you grow?
- Competition: How are you different?
- Team: Are you the right people for this?
- Ask: What do you need (investment, partnerships, etc.)?
I help clients shape their decks so that they reflect their strengths and speak directly to what investors are looking for. The goal is to be clear, honest, and confident—without overcomplicating things.
